CAADI Assignment Template

Purpose

Use this open assignment to complete independent English practice in the CAADI self-access center. You will choose a worksheet that addresses an area of English you want or need to improve and complete it independently.

What You Need to Do

  1. Choose one CAADI worksheet that is appropriate for your course and current learning needs.

    • Writing I: choose a worksheet that helps you improve skills such as sentence construction, paragraph development, vocabulary, grammar in context, organization, cohesion, drafting, revising, or editing.

    • Listening I: choose a worksheet that helps you improve skills such as predicting, listening for gist, listening for specific information, vocabulary recognition, identifying key words, understanding speakers, inference, or listening strategies.

  2. Complete the worksheet independently in CAADI. Follow all instructions provided on the worksheet and use the available self-access resources as needed.

  3. Include your full name and date you completed the worksheet on the worksheet itself.

  4. Consult with a CAADI Tutor for feedback and support, making sure you get the signature and CAADI stamp on your worksheet.

  5. Take a picture of your completed worksheet.

  6. Submit your worksheet to the appropriate assignment in Microsft Teams.

  • complete the worksheet with reasonable effort and independently;

  • provide the required evidence of completion; and

  • complete the reflection thoughtfully in English.

Use of AI and Other Support

Use dictionaries, reference materials, CAADI resources, and digital tools only when they support the learning goal of the worksheet. Do not use GenAI to complete the worksheet for you. If a worksheet explicitly permits GenAI, follow the instructions provided and document your use when required.
