The Situation

Your team is a group of travel bloggers writing a feature on a “Dream Destination.” You must collaborate to describe this location so vividly that your readers feel like they are already there.

Your Task Work together in a timed relay format to write a descriptive paragraph about travel and tourism. You must focus on sensory details and seamlessly connect your ideas as you rotate writers.

Strict Formatting & Grammar Rules

• Format: Write exactly one paragraph (one sentence right after the other) as a team.

• Length: Your team’s paragraph must be between 120 and 150 words.

• Sentence Count: Write between 6 and 10 sentences.

• Grammar: You must include at least one simple sentence, one compound sentence, and one complex sentence.

• Connectors: You must successfully include at least one basic connector from each category: addition, contrast, and sequence.

• AI Verification: After drafting, input your text into a GenAI tool to identify areas of improvement and compare linguistic options. You must document the AI’s suggestions and critically explain why you accepted or rejected them to preserve your authentic student voice.
