Table of contents

This space is an effort to make my teaching and learning practice more transparent. As an English language teacher trainer, I strive to promote in each learner autonomy, reflective and shared practice, openness to dialogue through various perspectives, risk-taking, routine building, and purposeful decision-making. I share most of what I do as an educator and learner on this wiki website (, which includes open courseware and other related content. If you want to join the conversation and share what you do in the classroom, contact me via my Twitter X handle, ***@bnleez*** and consider joining this Slack community.

OERs - Areas - References (OARs)

<aside> 💡 Open educational resources (OERs) are teaching, learning, and research materials that are freely available for anyone to use, adapt, and redistribute, usually under licenses that promote these freedoms. In Forte's PARA method, an area is a sphere of activity with a standard to be maintained over time and references are materials of potential future relevance that are not actionable at the moment but may be needed someday.
